I have been seriously obsessed with fouta towels. They are also called peshtemal, hamam towels or Turkish towels. For centuries used in Turkish hammams, fouta towels have been appearing lately in modern bathrooms. They are made from %100 cotton, light, airy, highly absorbent, quick drying (no more mildew-smelly towels) they look crisp and clean. These towels don't take a lot of space either. When it comes to washing, the more you wash them the softer they get. They are also eco-friendly, consuming less water and detergent plus no need to use softeners. The fringes and stripes make these towels look so unique. They are also good for the beach, spa, gym, yoga, travel and the small ones also work in the kitchen. I found most of my towels at ebay, local stores and lately at HomeGoods and T.J.Maxx. I also found them on etsy. They are sold by online stores too but some of them are really pricey, so if you are looking for these towels, you need to do your homework before paying a lot of money.
