weekend at barnes & noble, a coffee and a book

Over the weekend I found the book, The World of Muriel Brandolini: Interiors. Interior designer Muriel Brandolini's bold colors, her ethnic found objects and textiles from all around the world and her whimsical style inticed me to look at the book further. The book starts with her early years with decorating several of her own homes using bold colored walls and furnitures plus asian inspired ethnic items that I liked the most. Later in the book I saw that her bold color scheme looked toned down a bit without loosing her whimsical and eclectic style. Great book to read and pictures to look at to be  inspired.
