I have been lusting over kimonos for a while but they really get pricey. Recently, I found this gorgeous fringe kimono from Marshalls ($19.99). I think this will satisfy my "need"!:)
Hmm, may be I should keep this color explosion hanging on my office wall:)

I found the same kimono on the web also in red. These vibrant colors definitely cheering me up especially on this cold gray winter day!
Geometric or floral, fringe or no fringe kimonos are perfect for a day or evening wear over jean shorts, tight jeans or even with a little dress. Pairing them with a chunky boots sets the mood for a bohemian chic style.

What do you think about kimonos? Do you have a favorite one?
I really like kimono. I collected a few kimono and haori jackets in the late 90s and then the prices spiraled up more and more for really nice ones. Supply and demand, I guess. I don't want to part with them to make some profit though, that's how much I like them!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, the good ones are really pricey these days. I hope to see your kimonos and haori jackets sometime, I am sure they look fabulous!
